Yesterday, October 10,2012, we saw about solutions. We learned that they are three types of solution: unsaturated, saturated and supersaturated. Our teacher, Mr. Popoff, took sugar, test tubes and water and he mixed in one test tube water and one spoon of sugar and the sugar dissolved. In the other test tube he mixed the same amount of water with 3 to 5 spoons of sugar and it dissolved but not all of it. In the third test tube he mixed the same amount of water and from 6 to 8 spoons of sugar and this one didn't dissolved because it was more sugar than water. What Mr. Popoff did was to burn it and all the sugar was dissolved. The first solution was unsaturated, the second one was saturated and the third one was supersaturated.
Later on, we went outside with 4 cans of pepsi room temperature and the other 4 were in the freezer all morning, so it was cold. We went upstairs a game and throw the 8 cans at the same time and when they touched the ground the stones made holes to the cans and the refreshment went out the can because of the gas the can contains. It was pretty much that and the class was enetrtained and we really learned about the topic.
